I don't get this sentence about Python: "It will be available on all platforms, not just Windows, which should make it more appealing and competitive."

Python is already available on all platforms. Personally I have only used Python on Linux and macOS for many years, and never on Windows.

Python is available for pretty much everything. Windows, Mac. Linux, Android, little ARM devices, some refrigerators .... etc.

Totally agree. It’s a strange thing to say indeed. Python is available across many platforms and a huge selling point. “not just windows” weird comment to make.
