Like most things, it comes down to personal choices. My perfect setup would be a Lenovo Thinkpad T-series with Linux. More open and flexible OS, a better keyboard IMHO and an equally good trackpad.

BUT....I still use Macbook Pro...why? Because there are some software that just works a lot better on macOS in a business context: like MS Teams and Citrix Workspace.
